  • 5 plus hours of outdoor live-fire shooting drills with a full sized 9mm firearm.
  • After class, you’ll have the opportunity to shoot various calibers of revolvers and semi automatic handguns to get the feel for the various sizes and types of carry and training guns. These will be my personal firearms ..and I will furnish the ammo for these guns.

Class size limited to 6 students. This allows me ( and my rangemaster/husband Marshal Halloway) to spend quality time and give attention to each student individually while on the range.

During this course you will :

  • Learn how to safely handle firearms
  • Pros & cons to different types of handguns
  • Learn and acquire a different mindset and awareness level.
  • Learn and practice the basics of grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control
  • Loading/unloading/dry fire and live fire.
  • Have the opportunity to handle and shoot different calibers and types of firearms.
  • Understand the different methods of carry and choices of holsters and handbags

You will need the following:

Required equipment:

  • The 9mm semi automatic handgun you want to train with, plus an outside holster.
  • If you don’t own one, or you don’t want to use your own, I have full sized 9mm’s to use. Included in this will be the holster, extra magazines, mag holders and speed loaders.
  • *Ammunition for your handgun will be your responsibility.*
  • The reason for using full size 9mm’s for training is~~~If you bring a small carry gun with you for training, you may certainly experience hand and arm fatigue at the end of the class due to the number of rounds fired with that caliber.
  • Bring your carry gun with you ( with your ammo).  We will make time to work with it and shoot it at the end of class

***If using your 9mm*** you will need~~~~~

  • At least 3 spare magazines, magazine pouches and a speed loader.
  • Good quality holster for the handgun that will remain open after the firearm is drawn. Strong side hip Blade-Tex (hard plastic) holsters are advised outside the waist band. No cross-draw, inside the waistband or shoulder holsters please.

Standard List of Needed Items

  • Sturdy wide belt that will support the holster…and fit the belt loops on your pants.
  • 300-rounds of ball ammunition for your training handgun. ( No Reloads)
